1. Important Dates
- Portal Opening Date: Thursday, September 24, 2026
- Registration Deadline: Thursday, October 8, 2026
- O'Level Upload Deadline on JAMB CAPS: NOT LATER THAN Thursday, October 8, 2026
2. General Eligibility Rules
- Age Requirement: Candidates must be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2026.
- UTME Score Cut-Off: ONLY candidates who scored a minimum of 150 in their UTME are eligible to apply.
- O'Level Requirements: Candidates must possess at least 5 O'Level Credit passes (including English Language and Mathematics, alongside three other relevant subjects) in not more than two sittings.
- Non-FUTO First Choice Candidates: Candidates who did not choose FUTO as their first choice university in the UTME can also apply, provided they visit the JAMB CAPS portal and change their institution to FUTO.

- Candidates who previously applied for Post-UTME Screening: ₦18,000.00
Payment is made online via the Remita platform after generating a Payment Invoice from the FUTO portal.
Nature of the Screening Exercise
The 2026/2027 Post-UTME Supplementary Screening Exercise will be based on verified JAMB scores and O'Level results uploaded directly to the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS). No physical or online written test will be conducted for this supplementary batch.
How to Apply: Step-by-Step Instructions
- Visit the official FUTO portal at https://futo.edu.ng and click on Prospective Students, then click on Undergraduate, or directly access the registration link at https://portal.futo.edu.ng/Undergraduate.
- Click on "Generate invoice".
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number to generate your Payment Invoice containing the Remita Retrieval Reference Number (RRR).
- Proceed to any commercial bank branch with the payment invoice OR pay online instantly using your ATM debit card.
- Return to the Application portal: https://portal.futo.edu.ng/Undergraduate.
- Click on "Application Form".
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number and click on "Login".
- Proceed to complete all required details in the form.
- Correctly enter your academic details as required.
- Confirm and cross-check all your entries carefully.
- Submit your application. (Note: Your application is only COMPLETED when you click "Submit").
- Print out your acknowledgement slip for record purposes.
- Await further official communications from the University.
Important Notice & Warnings
Crucial Notice on JAMB CAPS: Ensure that your details on JAMB CAPS (including your program of choice) match what you select on the FUTO application portal. Ensure that your O'Level results are uploaded to CAPS on or before Thursday, October 8, 2026. After uploading, click "Refresh" on CAPS to confirm the update. Candidates who fail to register within the stipulated window or upload their results on time will NOT be considered.

- Only candidates who successfully submit their applications online will be considered for admission.
